About Al Amira Disability Services

At Al Amira Disability Services, our story starts at home — around kitchen tables, in hospital corridors, and in quiet late-night conversations with the people we love. We know what it feels like to fight for support, to explain your situation over and over, and to worry whether the people walking into your home will truly respect your family, your culture and your boundaries. Al Amira was created from that experience — from the belief that no one should feel alone, rushed or unseen when they're asking for help.

Our values come from our families, our culture and the way we were raised. We were taught to check on neighbours, to share what we have, to notice when someone is struggling and step in gently. Kindness, honesty, loyalty and respect aren't just words on a poster for us — they are expectations. They guide how we talk, how we listen, how we enter your home, and how we make decisions about support.

We believe that behind every NDIS plan is a whole person with a story, a culture, a sense of humour, fears, strengths and dreams for the future. That's why our support is person-centred and culturally safe. We listen before we act. We ask what feels comfortable. We respect language, privacy, faith, traditions and family roles. Who we are

We are a boutique NDIS provider supporting people with disability, their families and carers across the Sydney region. Our team brings lived experience, professional training and strong community connections — especially with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Every participant is different. We take time to listen to your story, understand your routines and faith, and co-design supports that feel natural in your everyday life — not like a "service" dropped on top.
